July Newsletter!

Dear Parents,

During the month of July, we will be learning about Insects and Arachnids. Our studies about Arachnids will mainly be about various

spiders and scorpions. We have noticed more insects outside and even caught a few last month to feed our growing tadpoles. We'll take a closer look into the traits of these creatures and their life cycles.

We also have a lot of fun activities planned for the hot summer month of July. Each day we will enjoy a different activity, here is the list of daily events for the month:

Monday July 4th, 11th, & 18th: Pajama Day

Tuesday July 5th, 12th, & 19th: Crazy Hair Day

Wednesday July 6th, 13th, & 20th: Wacky Day

Thursday July 7th, 14th, &21st: Color Day (Red, Blue, White)

Friday July 8th, 15th, & 22nd: Water Day

The last week of July will be summer break. There will be no school July 25th- 29th.

We are looking forward to the exciting things planned for this month. Please have your child come to school ready to participate in these activities! :)

June Newsletter!

The month of June is here! We will be studying Amphibians and Reptiles. During our studies about Amphibians, we’ll learn about the life cycle of a frog: eggs, tadpoles, and metamorphosis to frog. Our

studies of Reptiles will include: lizards, snakes, and turtles among others. We will discuss the differences and similarities of both Reptiles and Amphibians.

While we spend some afternoons outdoors, we’ll be on the look-out for Amphibian and Reptile sightings. Hopefully, you and your child will have an opportunity to be outdoors exploring these

creatures, too.
