In March we welcomed new students to Stephanie English Montessori. In order to get to know everyone, we focused on introductions and names. Students learned the letters in their names by doing a name collage activity.
This month, students at SEM learned about the human body. We learned the names of different body parts and where they are. Also, students had a chance to draw and color cut-outs of their own bodies.
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day by painting our very own shamrocks. The students had a lot of fun painting with marbles instead of brushes.
More art fun was had with Ms. Sunny, who showed the kids how to paint with paper cups. Students also worked on their fine motor skills by tearing sheets of paper and rolling it into balls.
Miss Lisa introduced new students to some of the Montessori jobs, as well as a few of SEM's favorite books.
