This month was very exciting for us, with lots of new faces
here at SEM. We were very sad to say goodbye to Ms. Maura this month, on
September 7th.
Fortunately we were also lucky to welcome two new
great teachers, Ms. Ana from Washington DC and Mr. Adrian from England.
This is why we chose "Getting to know each other" as our theme this month. We practiced our speaking skills and introduced ourselves to each other and the class, talked about where we are from, and what we like and don’t like.
All the students drew pictures of their family, and things that they like. It was great fun listening and watching them describe their pictures.
We were supposed to have a field trip this month to Gyungju on the 23rd, but unfortunately with all of the earthquakes we had to cancel. We did however; learn what to do in the event of an earthquake.
We also got to celebrate two birthdays this month. Jio’s
birthday was on the 20th and Victoria’s was on the 26th.

This month Love class and Dream class worked on their handwriting skills, and learned more about the different Montessori jobs, while Hope class worked on a new English grammar Montessori job.
And during our Musical English classes with Miss Ashley this month, we got to do lots of fun songs, games and even some dress up, too!
Finally, we had some nice warm weather, too! We got to play outside, read books, and pick flowers in the sun.
