Love and Dream Classes
Before we knew it, it was February, and we only had 24 days left! This fun but busy month was filled with excitement for the End of Year Program. All of the teachers and students practiced
their speeches and dance moves for the big night!
As
well as practicing speeches and dance moves, the students also continued
working on their handwriting skills, and learning new Montessori jobs.
We
also celebrated a very special day on February 14th, that's right it was Valentine’s
Day. We celebrated by making Valentine’s
Day cookies in cooking class.
The
big day we had been preparing for was finally here. We all arrived at SEM nice and early on
Saturday February 24th to get our
costumes ready, and have our photos taken, the boys looking handsome in their tuxedos and the girls wearing their pretty white dresses.
Everyone
was really excited to get dressed in their costumes, and put on a big show for
their family.
Here is the list of performances from the night. My Dream Job speeches, Aladdin, The Futures looking good to me, Mama Mia and the Dancing Queen and finally, Thank You Graduation Song.
The
evening was filled with lots of clapping and cheering, but there was also an
element of sadness as we said goodbye to our graduating students.
Thank
