Love and Dream Class

With the End of Year Program now finished, It was time for us to start off our new semester here at SEM. We held a Welcome Ceremony for our new students who started in March.

 

We welcomed three new students to Dream Class.

For this reason, one of our themes this month was “getting to know each other”. The new students introduced themselves, made new friends, and learned the different school rules.

 

As well as getting to know each other, we also looked at the topic “I am responsible”. This gave the students an opportunity to learn the different aspects of being responsible, and since ‘Responsibility’ is very important to a child’s success, both in school and in the larger world when they grow up it made this topic a valuable life lesson.

 

 

 

 

 

During these months we got to practice our reading, writing, and language skills, while still learning about different Montessori jobs.
 

 

 

 

We also had fun in musical English and art class...

 

Reading, cooking and science class!

 

 

We also got to have some down time...

and had a few days where the weather was nice...

We got to celebrate several birthdays this month. The first, was Andy’s 5th birthday on March 7th, followed by Helia’s 7th birthday on March 8th, Dohoon's 4th birthday on March 19th, and finally, Tiger’s 5th birthday on March 28th.

During this month we scheduled a, field trip to the Kid’s Café across the road, on Friday March 29th. We got to...

Wrestle with Mr. Adrian...

 

Have a yummy picnic lunch...

and go on the dragon train.

  

 

  

It was such a fun day!
