December! Christmas is the big name of this month, but it’s important to remember
that there are also other holidays this time of year. There is also Yule, Hannukah, and
Kwanzaa. In fact, most people around the world celebrate something around this time of
year!
For us here at SEM, we decorated all over with trees, santas, reindeer, garland, bells, lights,
and more! We’re very festive!
This month for our field trip we went to the bird park! We got to meet so many flighty
friends. We got to feed seeds to some of them too! They were so colorful! They were also
very loud. We saw other animals at the bird park too: there were some mammals, some fish
and some reptiles. After we were done we went to a nearby park to eat our lunch outside.
What a fun trip!
We also loved dressing up for our Christmas party. Instead of for Halloween dressing
up in fun costumes, this time we dressed up in fancy tuxedos and dresses! Doesn’t
everyone look amazing?
And who is that between us all? It looks like Santa!
Also for our holiday celebrations we got to see a magic show. The magician was
so talented!
We had a wonderful winter break here, and we hope you did too. We hope you
