October was here before we knew it. We started the month with a long Chusuk vacation. We hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
The change in month brought with it a change of season, Fall. This was
a great time to explain the change in weather that was occurring all around us. That being
said, our theme for October was the weather.
The students learned about the different types of weather, cloud formations, and the water
cycle. We also continued the theme
of “the weather”, during the afternoon classes, too!
During this month we continued to learn and practice new Montessori jobs, practice our math, conversation, and handwritting skills. We had fun in musical English, and art, too!
On October 11th, we went on our monthly field trip to Yeonil Children's Traffic Land.
Here, we learned about road safety,
Got a chance to drive a Gokart around a driving course, and have a yummy picnic lunch, too!
On October 31st, we celebrated Charlie's 7th birthday.
Happy birthday Charlie.
On the same day, all three classes celebrated Halloween together.
The students dressed up in
their costumes, explained what character they were, and then had the chance to walk
through the spooky haunted house in Hope classroom. There were a lot of
yummy treats for those Trick or Treaters, too!
