Love and Dream Class
Spring is finally here, and along with it the warm weather, too! This month we got to spend more time outside as the yellow dust levels remained reasonably low.
This month was all about dinosaurs. It was so much fun to learn the names of our favorite dinosaurs, and to discover which ones were meat-eating and plant-eating. We also learned about their different characteristics, and that dinosaurs lived during different times.
We had such a fun filled April! We started by taking part in planting day on Thursday, April 5th. Although it was a cold day it was great to watch the students color their plastic cup plant pots and make them their own. We then collected the soil, and the students planted their seeds. Over the course of the month each student took responsibility for watering their own plant. It was so much fun to watch them grow!
During this month we continued to practice our handwriting and math skills, while still learning about different Montessori jobs.
We did some cool, fun experiments in science class....
Made some yummy food in cooking class.....
and had fun in art, and musical English class, too!
To help us understand more, we took a step back in time and visited Gyeongju Healing Park, on April 20th. Here we got to see some of the different dinosaurs that roamed the earth long before us....
