September Newsletter

September Newsletter

Dear Parents,

This month our themes will be on Body Parts and Rules. We will study the human body and its many different parts. For example, the students' will learn the body has 206 bones; as well as facts like over 55% of the human body is comprised of water. We will discuss in great detail the science of the human body and all the names that come with it!

The importance of respect is very important for every student to learn. In September, the students' will gain a deeper understnading and respect for themselves, their fellow students' and the environment. This month long lesson will coincide with the Body Parts lesson because just as a person must respect his/her body, they must also respect their peers and the environment.

At home, please encourage the use of questions about what certian body parts are as well as the importance of being respectful to yourself and others. This is going to be an exciting month with lots of adventures and learning of new subjects.

Sincerely,

-The Teachers at Stephanie English Montessori
