Love and Dream Class
May was a fun month with lots of group work and special holidays! Our theme during May was “The Solar System”. Students learned about the different planets that make up our solar system, all of the planet names, and the different kinds of environment each planet has. We also got to make a solar system in science class, too... It was so messy, but so much fun!
During this month we got to practice our reading, writing, and language skills, while still learning about different Montessori jobs.

This year, we celebrated Children’s Day on Friday, May 3rd, and to show our appreciation to all of the students we had an action-packed day complete with a pizza, pasta, and ice cream party.
We also made carnations for Parent's Day. Pink for Mommy and red for Daddy!
Our field trip this month was on Friday, May 24th. We went to Hamagae Park. We got to let our hair down and run around.
Mr. Adrian took Love class students hiking around the park, we not only got to see a group of people playing traditional Korean musical, but we also got to play the instruments, too! it was good fun!
And of course a field trip to the park wouldn't be a field trip without having a spring picnic.
We were very lucky this month, because the Korean Army brought their big tanks and armored vehicles to City Hall again. I think we were one of the first schools to be lined up ready to pose with the soldiers, and sit on the tanks.
