October 2021

Happy winter! We apologize for the long wait since we last posted here on the blog. Without further ado, let's get into it. In October, we learned all about action verbs such as eat, drink, wash, among other verbs we all know.

Here, Dream class spent some time learning some new action verbs, as well as reviewing.

We also spent some time learning all about oobleck. It's not a solid and it's not a liquid. What is it? And why is it so messy?

We were also able to visit the love garden just as the muhly grass was at its best.

Now onto the celebrations! In the month of October, we celebrated one birthday. Seolri turned 7 years old!

Lastly, to finish off October, we had our Halloween party. Everyone dressed up, and there was plenty of candy to share. Don't these costumes look absolutely frightful?

Well that's all for the month of October. Please look forward to the month of November shortly. Again, we apologize for the delay in updates.

September 2021: Happy Autumn!

Happy autumn! We are officially done with September! This month, it seems it was all about food and learning about shapes here at Stephanie's English Montessori.
One of the things afternoon Dream class did in September was play with food toys. Doesn't that fake food look just like real food?

Speaking of food, both the morning Dream class and Love class went to look at Korean melons close to the school. Only some of the melons were yellow, but looking at them was still fun and interesting.

We made sure to stay close and hold hands, so we wouldn't lose a friend.

In cooking class, we made little bears with chocolate sandwich cookies. Don't they look too good to eat?

But let's not forget about all the things we do day in and day out here. Look at Dream class completing their Montessori jobs.

Our topic of the month was shapes; look at Love and Dream class hard at work making shapes.

That's all for the month of September. Let's look forward to the month of October!
