Love and Dream Classes
October is here bringing with it the cooler weather. All the summer clothes are now packed away, and the hats and scarves are at the ready to keep us warm! With this in mind our theme for this month was “The human body”.
We learned about the different body parts, what they do, and why we need them. Did you know... when we are young we have 300 bones in our body, and when we grow up they fuse together leaving us with 206 bones! It's fascinating!
We also learned a lot of new vocabulary words and continued to practice our handwriting and math skills, while still learning about different Montessori jobs.
We also had fun in musical English and art class...

and of course jump in the crunchy fall leaves!!
We all celebrated Halloween together on Wednesday October 31st, it was a scary, creepy kind of day! Everyone dressed up in their costumes and explained what character they were.
Then we all got the chance to walk through the spooky haunted house in Hope classroom... it was a bit too spooky for some!
Afterwards, we all went 'Trick-or-Treating' and filled our pumpkins with a lot of yummy treats!
Then had a yummy lunch!
Our field trip this month was to Doeum Mountain in Hunghae, on Friday October 19th. We got the chance to put our bodies into action by running around...
