During Art Class with Miss Sunny, SEM students designed and painted their own special fans. Things got a little messy, but the end results were worth it!
In keeping with our sea life theme, SEM students went on a field trip to Pohang's science center and aquarium. They enjoyed identifying all the different kinds of fish and watching them up close.
As you can see, some students got brave and dipped their fingers into the fish tanks!
The science displays were very hands-on and interactive. The students had a blast trying out each one and figuring out its purpose.
Love and Dream classes practiced their reading skills with Miss Lisa by playing word Bingo. Miss Lisa was very impressed by how quickly they could identify the words.
During Musical English with Miss Ashley, SEM students performed various role plays. Everyone participated and did a great job!
During outside time, Miss Lisa told Love and Dream classes about the different kinds of vegetables growing in the yard. The students had fun locating and picking vegetables like eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce. It was like a veggie scavenger hunt!
Throughout August, Dream class students learned about shapes and practiced constructing them and making patterns.
Dream Class also learned about the importance of relaxation and stretching. Miss Lisa showed the class some basic yoga poses.
To take advantage of our last hot summer month, we extended "Water Days" into August. SEM students certainly know how to beat the heat!
