Our theme this month focused more on work! work! work! since there was a lot of fun and celebrations last month. Our theme for August was 'Reading,' which was different for every class.
Hope class focused on reading, comprehension and understanding. Love class focused on reading by levels and some comprehension work, too. And Dream class worked on simple sentences and phonics.
During this month we also continued to practice and learn new Montessori jobs, work on our handwriting, reading, and math skills.

On August 21st we celebrated Damon's 6th birthday. We had a birthday circle, gave presents, and sang happy birthday to him.

On August 22nd, the South Korean army were displaying an awesome array of army vehicles, outside of City Hall, so we all put our shoes on and walked down to see them.
We took a trip to the English library in Yeonil, on Friday, August 25th, where we all got to read some cool books.

On August 31st, we had our field trip to Idong, City Hall English library, too!
September 1st, was a very sad day for us all here at SEM. It was time to say goodbye to Miss. Ana, who had been with us for one year teaching Dream Class.
