June 2017

Hope, Love and Dream Classes

Summer had officially started, and the warm weather was here.  We decided "opposites" would be a good idea for our theme this month.

This was a great opportunity for us to express how we feel about things, and also to describe things that we see around us.

During this month we continued to practice our handwriting, reading and math skills, we also learned and practiced new Montessori jobs.

We also enjoyed musical English....

And art class...

Love and Dream class got to practice their practical skills outside.

We celebrated a lot of birthdays this month.  Harrison from Dream class on June 16th, Aiden from Love class on June 20th, and Dylan from Hope class on June 26th. Oops, I nearly forgot Miss Ana's birthday on June 28th.

Happy birthday Harrison.

Happy birthday Aiden.

Hope and Love class gave a big congratulations to Ryan who won second place in a drawing competition.

After so much hard work during the week, we went to the park to celebrate fun fun Friday, and run around!

On June 23rd our field trip took us Jigok Yeongildae Park.  It was a fun filled day packed, with an early morning hike for Hope and Love class.
