Love and Dream Class
The last month of the year was finally here, with December arriving this week, which meant that we started a new, fun theme.
This month Love and Dream class learned about “Musical Instruments”, and of course December wouldn’t be the same without learning some “Christmas songs” too!
The students learned about the different Western and Korean style musical instruments that are used today. This was such a fun theme to learn! There was a lot of new vocabulary words.
We got to practice our reading, writing, and language skills, while still learning about different Montessori jobs.
We also had fun in musical English and art class...

We had several special dates this month, these were Miss. Stephanie's birthday on December 6th, and Nathaniel’s birthday which we celebrated on December 14th.

On Friday December 21st, we had our annual Christmas party. The boys looked very handsome in their smart tuxedos and suits, while the girls looked beautiful in their pretty white dresses.
Students drew a food item from the famous SEM Christmas stocking, and brought that item to the party creating a potluck lunch! It was a yummy Christmas feast!
The rumors that Santa Claus himself was going to make an appearance were true. He arrived looking spectacular with his big white beard and red suit.
He even stayed a while to give all of the students a present.
As our Christmas party grew to an end, the student's last surprise arrived...
We will see you all again on January 2nd to bring in the New Year.
