December 2020!

Welcome to our December blog post! It was a crazy month, we had to make some changes like spreading out the desks to keep everyone safe, we chose the topics for our speeches, and we had our Christmas celebration!

December wasn’t all fun and games, both Love and Dream classes did some math work and some language work.

Love class worked on some math problems.

And dream class was practicing counting and writing their numbers.

Dream class had a lot of fun doing Musical English with Miss Ashley.

And Dream class decided on a song for the Year-End Program. That means we can practice the dance for it too!

Wednesday science class lets us learn more about how the world works. We saw how adding salt to water can make things float!

And we also had our Friday cooking classes to make fun snacks!

Love and Dream classes helped set up our Christmas decorations. We decorated the tree, the garland, and set up some reindeer!

And we also had two Dream class birthdays in December, with both of them celebrating their fifth birthday. First we had Jun’s birthday...

And then we had Helena’s!

Mr. Santa couldn’t visit us this year because of the Covid-19 coronavirus, so Mr. Andrew was a big helper and took Santa’s place.

We hope everyone had a merry Christmas, and a happy ho-ho-holiday! We look forward to January, and we hope you will join us next time!

2020 November!

Hello everyone, and welcome to our blog post for the month of November! This month we celebrated American Thanksgiving, but we didn’t have any birthdays.

We did though have Miss Ashley and Musical English return! Dream Class especially has loved having Miss Ashley as a new teacher.

We have also had our Friday cooking classes. We made faces out of candy! Our Love Class friends are also very good helpers for Dream Class!

In Art Class, Dream Class collected leaves from the yard while Love Class went on an adventure with Miss Stephanie to find materials for their art.

Dream Class checks their language workbook answers on the board.

And, of course, we had our American Thanksgiving celebration. We had so much yummy food!

During our outside playtime, Love Class worked together to try and make a nest for animals in our yard. It’s so nice of our students, but unfortunately it looked like the animals didn’t want to use their nest.

And that’s all we have for our November blog post. Stay tuned for our December blog post! Until then, we at Stephanie’s English Montessori thank you for joining us for a few snapshots of our month!
