September Activities

This month's theme was the Environment, so students at SEM learned about the '3 R's':  Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling.  

Love and Dream classes made musical instruments by reusing old plastic water bottles.  They filled the bottles with either rice, sand, or rocks to make a beautiful noise.

The students enjoyed making Balloon Art.  They were very creative, drawing faces on their balloons to look like people.  

Dream Class students work very hard on Montessori jobs every day.  After doing their jobs they enjoy art time.

The weather was so nice that we decided to take our dragon outside to enjoy the sun!

August Activities

Classroom work time - This month our students spent a lot of time doing reading comprehension and handwriting practice.

The students loved making pizzas.  Delicious!

August was a very hot month, so to cool off our students had special water play days.  The kids had lots of fun splashing in the water.

July Activities

July was "fun month" at SEM.  As you can see, the kids were very enthusiastic and eager to participate.

Field Trip to Pohang Aquarium

SEM classes took a field trip to the Pohang Aquarium to observe all the fish they've been learning about this month as part of our Sea Life theme.  Later, the kids had fun at the interactive science exhibits.

Goodbye Luke and Mr. Forrest!

July was Luke's and Mr. Forrest's last month at SEM.  We really enjoyed our time with both of them and will miss them a lot!

Welcome Miss Lisa!

SEM has a new teacher from Canada, Miss Lisa.  She loves the kids and is very excited to be their new teacher.
