July 2017

Hope, Love and Dream Classes

July was a crazy, fun filled month full of celebrations and fun days.  With so many fun activities this month, we came up with the idea of having 'sports' as our theme to compliment the fun days.

With sports as our theme this month it gave us an opportunity to learn about different summer activities like swimming, running, jumprope etc.  We even got the chance to do some in class. It was a lot of fun!

During July, we also continued to practice our handwriting, reading and math skills.  We also learned and practiced new Montessori jobs.

Had fun in art class...

And musical English.

On July 5th, we celebrated Wacky Wednesday.  It was a great chance for everyone to get dressed in their funniest, craziest clothes.

We even got a chance to run around on the grass outside of the school, too..

On July 13th, students from Duho High School English Club visited us here at SEM, to teach our students English, play some fun games, and talk about our theme.

July 14th was Pajama day, a day to come to school in our pajamas.... not a day to laze around, though!!

Following our theme of sports, we had our field trip to the soccer field near the school, on July 17th, where both the students and the teachers played soccer.  It was a great game... there was a lot of good ball control, and even some home goals, too!

July 21st was crazy hair day, both the students and the teachers transformed their hair into... well crazy hair!

On July 26th we celebrated Junon's 7th birthday, and on the 27th, we celebrated Pete's 6th birthday. His actual birthday was on August 1st, but the school was closed for summer vacation.

Happy birthday Junon.

Happy birthday Pete.

July 28th was "Water day", all of the students came dressed in their water clothes, armed with some pretty big water guns!

There was a big water pool, big tubs full of water, and water balloons, too!

Then, the fun began...
